Motorola repeater running in a riser room on a real job

Large retail property, Klang Valley

The problem
Radios had to reach across the whole property.
What we did
We tested portable radios, then a 4G PoC radio, on site. Neither covered it. That settled the question: it needed a repeater. The client preferred the look of a ceiling dome antenna, so we designed around that.
What went in
1 SLR 5300 repeater, 1 ceiling antenna, 12 MOTOTRBO R2, MCMC licence application. Installed and accepted after SAT.

New hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The problem
A radio system had to be ready before opening day, and the MCMC frequency would take longer than the opening date allowed.
What we did
Hardware goes in first so the hotel is ready on time. Radios are reprogrammed when the frequency arrives.
What went in
19 MOTOTRBO R5 with earpieces, SLR 5300 repeater, 2 ceiling antennas, power splitter, site survey and SAT. In progress.
Hytera S1 Pro

Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The problem
A large team needed the same radio, with earpieces.
What we did
Supplied and delivered as one batch.
What went in
70 Hytera S1 Pro with earpieces. Delivered.

Events company, short rental

The problem
A crew needed radios for a four-day job.
What we did
Rented radios with a spare battery for each one.
What went in
8 TDMR DR6 for 4 days, 8 spare batteries.
